Ethereal collage of reincarnation memories.

“I didn’t want to come to Earth. I remember three incarnations.”

A story of deep soul memories, beginning from the moment before birth, early impressions of life in a big city, difficult birth, and childhood. It then reveals vivid images of three past lives: a daughter of a medieval European nobleman, a resident of China during hard times, and a partisan during the Great Patriotic War. These memories create a unique understanding of the soul, its fears, and experiences.

Memories of events before birth.

Reincarnation memory before birth — soul searching for its place above a tall gray dormitory, pregnant woman by a window.

“I remember myself before birth. I remember that I really didn’t want to come to Earth. Someone was talking with me, then they turned to some higher-ranking figure who also said that I had to go, to do something, but I don’t remember what… Then I remember myself already on Earth, in the off-season, with a gray sky and huge gloomy buildings (this was my first incarnation in the city), and I was flying up and down along a wall with identical windows but couldn’t find my own window. (I still feel uncomfortable in big cities.) The mood was very bad, almost tearful. Later, analyzing it, I realized what that wall was. My mother got pregnant during her fifth year of university, living in a dormitory on the 10th floor of the main building of Moscow State University. She defended her diploma with me in her belly).”

Memories of birth and the first days of life.

Reincarnation memory — crying newborn in crib after traumatic birth.

“Then I remember the birth… I didn’t want to be born, I tried again to outsmart those ‘up there,’ hiding in my mother’s womb. In reality, my mother’s waters broke at home in the morning, but there were no contractions. In the end, I was pulled out with forceps, suffered from asphyxia and birth trauma, was resuscitated, and kept separate from my mother for 3 days. According to my mother, during the first month I cried terribly at night, screaming like I was being cut (still protesting, apparently), and then I would sleep it off during the day. Later, I remember lying as a baby in a crib, thinking that my name wasn’t Masha, but Ekaterina, and my last name was different. That worried me a lot.”

Memories of past lives.

“Then, throughout my life, details of previous lives began to surface. I remember three incarnations.”

First memory of a past life: Northern Europe.

Reincarnation memory — Medieval Northern Europe, 13th–14th century — young noblewoman in embroidered dress walking through green meadow near small gray stone castle under cloudy sky.

“The first one was the best but short. I was the daughter of a noble European, living in the 13th-14th century. I had no mother, but my father loved me very much — I felt like I was behind a stone wall, surrounded by his warmth. (In my other lives, including this one, I was not so lucky with fathers.) We lived in a small castle made of gray stone, under a low gray sky, with green meadows around. It felt like Northern Europe — Belgium or the Netherlands. I remember beautiful clothes with embroidery and patterns that we wore. Then I recall being about 17 years old, walking through thick grass in a light dress, and I think I was bitten by a snake. That’s all — I remember nothing after that…”

Second memory of a past life: China.

Reincarnation memory - Ancient China, small village near the Great Wall, a Chinese woman with a skinny cat.

“Next life… We lived near the Great Wall of China. It was harsh—I don’t even want to remember it; it makes me cry. I remember having one true soul companion, a skinny cat. There were times of famine. One day I came home to find a pot boiling on the fire. They had cooked my cat. Then there was an earthquake, and I was buried under the collapsed house. I was about 30 years old. The end.”

Third past life memory: Russia, Bryansk region.

Reincarnation memory — WWII female partisan in icy river, Bryansk region.

“And the last life. The Great Patriotic War. It seems to be Bryansk region. I was a partisan. I was about 32 years old. The Germans found us, captured me and another woman, ordered us to strip naked, step into an icy river, and then shot us with machine guns. I remember dipping my nose into the water and sinking with the thought, ‘Well, that’s it…’ And then I remember flying upwards…”

The last past life reflected on my current incarnation:

“From early childhood, I had a panic fear of freshwater bodies, dark water, even in photos in books. These are the kinds of stories you just can’t make up.”
